The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) secured their place in the Women's Premier League (WPL) 2024 playoffs with a convincing seven-wicket victory over the Mumbai Indians (MI) on Tuesday, March 12th. The architect of this win was the ever-reliable Ellyse Perry, who displayed her all-around brilliance at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.

Perry's day started with a phenomenal bowling spell. She ripped through the MI batting order, claiming a career-best haul of 6 wickets for a mere 20 runs. This exceptional bowling display restricted Mumbai to a modest total of 113 runs in 19 overs.
